Air Mauritius infant found in toilet rubbish can

New Delhi. Airport staff in Mauritius have found a newborn in a garbage can in the toilet of the plane. According to media reports, the newborn was covered in blood and was wrapped with toilet paper. At present, the police have taken a woman under surveillance in the case. At the same time, the child has been admitted to the hospital. The police will further interrogate the woman after she is discharged from the hospital.

According to the BBC report, it was feared that a 20-year-old woman from Madagascar had given birth to a child. Later the police arrested him. The plane had landed from Madagascar at Sir Seevosagur Ramgoolam International Airport on January 1. The new born was found by the airport authorities during a routine customs check. At present, the child’s treatment continues in the hospital.

According to the report, the woman who was being suspected of being the mother of the child, at first they denied this. After this the woman was taken for a medical examination, where it was confirmed that she had recently given birth to a child. The condition of both women and children is better. The woman, who came to Mauritius on a two-year work permit, has to be questioned from the hospital. Also, a case will be registered against him for leaving the newborn.
