Will There Be Night Curfew In Delhi Too? Coronavirus Infection Rate Is Only Slightly Behind Yellow Alert Figures – Will there be a ban in Delhi like the second wave? Corona infection rate is only slightly behind Yellow Alert figures

There is a possibility of night curfew in Delhi, closure of schools and colleges and half the capacity of the metro.

New Delhi:

Night curfew in Delhi, closure of schools and colleges and shops of non-essential goods and seating capacity in metro trains is expected to be halved as the rate of corona virus infection in Delhi reached 0.43 percent, which is a phased process. Under the scheme (GRAP) the yellow alert for launch is only slightly behind by 0.5 percent. The corona virus infection rate in Delhi reached 0.43 percent on Saturday and 249 cases were reported in the capital, which is the highest since June 13. The infection rate is also the highest since June 9, when it was 0.46 percent.

Under the four-tier GRAP, when the infection rate is 0.5 percent, a ‘yellow’ alert is triggered for the next two days and various restrictions are imposed. If this warning is issued, most of the activities in the capital will come to a halt just a few months after a phased re-emergence from the April lockdown.

The Delhi Disaster Management Authority had approved the GRAP in July in view of the third wave of Kovid. Its purpose is to make a clear system of banning and removing based on the situation of Kovid. During the Yellow Alert, there is a provision to impose curfew from 10 pm to 5 am, whereas during the Red Alert, complete curfew is imposed.
