Total 5488 Omicron Cases In India, 2162 Recovered So Far

Amidst the sudden spurt in the cases of corona in India, the cases of its new variant are also increasing rapidly. According to the data released by the Union Health Ministry on Wednesday, 620 new cases of Omicron have been registered across the country in the last 24 hours. With the arrival of new cases, the total number of Omicron cases in the country has increased to 5,488. Earlier, 407 new cases were registered on Wednesday, 428 on Tuesday and 410 on Monday. However, it is a matter of relief that out of the total infected of Omicron, 2,162 patients have been cured.

Maharashtra, Rajasthan and Delhi top the states most affected by Omicron. Maharashtra has the highest number of 1,367 Omicron patients so far. Of these, 734 patients have been cured. At the same time, 792 cases have been reported in Rajasthan and 549 in Delhi at number two.
