Odisha School Reopening First To Fifth Will Open In Odisha From January Third Omicron Has So Many Cases Registered In The State

Odisha School Reopening: The Odisha government has decided to once again open the school for the students of classes 1 to 5. Schools will be opened in the state from January 3 for children of classes 1 to 5. Education Minister SR Dash has announced this in a press conference. This announcement came when the closure of schools is being considered in view of the increasing corona cases and Omicron cases in all the states across the country.

A total of 27 thousand schools will once again open in Odisha from January 3. However, consent of the parents of the students will be required. At the same time, classes will run in both online-offline mode. The class of the students will be of 3 hours which will run from 9 am to 12 noon. In the order, the school administration has been directed to strictly follow the SOP including all the Kovid-19 rules. Let us tell you, so far the total number of Omicron cases in the state has gone up to 9. Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has asked the officials to be prepared to deal with a possible third wave of Kovid-19 in the state.

Schools may be closed in Maharashtra

In view of the increasing cases of Omicron in Maharashtra, schools are being considered for closure again. Let us tell you, the total number of Omicron cases in the country has gone up to 781. 238 in Delhi, 167 in Maharashtra, 73 in Gujarat and 65 in Kerala. Meanwhile, 143.15 crore people have been given vaccine doses so far under the nationwide vaccination of Corona. The active cases of corona in the country are at present 77,002. Active cases are less than 1% of the total cases. Currently it is 0.22% which is the lowest since March 2020.
