Katra Burning Bus Update: Police are investigating the terrorist angle in the incident of fire in a bus carrying pilgrims in Jammu and Kashmir’s Katra. Notably, a terrorist organization had claimed responsibility for the incident. India TV correspondent Manish told that NIA and police have taken samples for FSL but till now bomb or IED has not been confirmed. At present, the FSL report is awaited.
Let us inform that a sudden fire broke out in a bus in Katra, Jammu and Kashmir. Four people had died in this accident. According to ADGP Jammu, 4 people were killed and 20 others were injured when a local bus going from Katra to Jammu caught fire near Kharmal, about 1.5 km from Katra. Initial investigation revealed that the engine of the bus caught fire, which soon engulfed the entire bus.
Lt Governor had announced compensation
In this case, the Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir Manoj Sinha had announced compensation to the kin of the deceased. Sinha had tweeted and said that the families of those who lost their lives in the unfortunate bus accident in Katra will be given assistance of Rs.5 lakh each. At the same time, an assistance of one lakh rupees will be given to the seriously injured in the accident.
Now that the terrorist angle is being investigated in this case, the statement of Delhi BJP leader Kapil Mishra has also come to the fore. Kapil said, ‘The fire that broke out in the bus going to Vaishno Devi was a terrorist attack. NIA started investigation. After the murder of Rahul Bhat, now if the talk of terrorist attack on Vaishno Devi pilgrims is true, then the water has gone above the head and the answer should be such that the souls of terrorists and their supporters tremble.
