Digital Desk, New Delhi. A new controversy has erupted on social media after Sulli Deal and Bulli Bai App, where Hindu women are now being targeted with derogatory words and images.

It started with a Telegram app based channel where highly derogatory posts about Hindu women were being uploaded. After the controversy on social media, the Indian government blocked the channel and assured action against the people behind it.

Amidst the ongoing Sully Deal and Bulli Bai controversy in the country, there was a stir after the news of another such abusive channel coming to the fore. Actually, Hindu women were being targeted through this channel. In this channel made on Telegram, only pictures of Hindu girls and women were shared.

On the other hand Muslim women were being targeted through Sulli Deal and Bulli Bai, which gave rise to a nationwide controversy. Now several accounts on various social networking sites have been found posting derogatory pictures and comments about Hindu women.

A few different Twitter handles reported the matter to Mumbai and Delhi Police and demanded action.

A senior Delhi Police official said that they have not received any written complaint yet and are waiting for it.

Meanwhile, Union Information and Technology Minister Ashwini Vaishnav informed that they have blocked a Telegram app channel where such posts were being uploaded. He said that investigation has also been started.

The minister said that Facebook has been asked to take action on such pages.

According to the information, such accounts are on Twitter, Facebook, Telegram channel and Instagram.

Various people have shared links of such Facebook pages with Delhi and Mumbai Police.

In the Bulli Bai app where Muslim women were maligned, after which the Mumbai Police has arrested the people there and is still investigating the matter.

Delhi Police said that they are discussing the matter with the seniors to decide the future course of action.
