Digital Desk, Kolkata. Prime Minister Narendra Modi today inaugurated the Kolkata Chittaranjan National Cancer Institute in West Bengal through a virtual meeting. TMC President and Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee was also present in this VC.
The biggest thing in this two-hour program of PM Modi was that Bengal CM did not get a chance to speak, whose displeasure was seen in Mamta. And he accused the PM and said that the hospital which Modi is inaugurating. We have already inaugurated it.
CM said that when we needed Kovid centers in Corona, then we saw Chittaranjan Sansthan is connected to the state. In such a situation, we have already inaugurated it, which proved to be very helpful during the Corona period. CM Mamta Banerjee said that the state government gives 25 percent grant for the cancer hospital. Our government has also given 11 acres of land. Taking a jibe at the central government, Mamta said that when it is about the people, then the state and central government should work together.
Mamta told the Modi government to increase the quota in medical from the center. While speaking, Mamta also said that the Health Minister called twice to attend this program. There is talk of Bengal and Kolkata, so I joined the program.
