Jind/Chandigarh: An Army helicopter made an emergency landing in a field in Haryana’s Jind district on Sunday. Four army personnel aboard the helicopter are safe. A police officer gave this information. Police said that the police has reached the spot and the technical unit of the army has been called to the spot. However, no statement has come from the army in this regard yet.

Superintendent of Police Kuldeep Singh said, “The emergency landing of the army helicopter took place in the fields. The jawan and the helicopter aboard are safe. There is no report of any damage. Taken off safely in Jabar Singh’s field.

Singh said, “There was no damage of any kind to the helicopter nor to any of the jawans aboard. All are safe. It is said that four army personnel including the pilot were present in the helicopter. Meanwhile, a large number of villagers, especially the youth, thronged towards the fields on the information of the helicopter landing in the wheat field in the village. Police said that youths were also competing to take selfies with the helicopter.
