15 18 Vaccination Omicron Coronavirus Covaxin Bharat Biotech news

New Delhi. Bharat Biotech has warned health workers about the ongoing vaccination of 15-18 age group against Coronavirus in India. The company says that some reports had come to the fore, in which there was talk of being given a rejected or unapproved vaccine to the newly eligible group. The special thing is that only Covaxin has been allowed for this age group. The vaccination campaign in India started from 16 January 2021. At the same time, vaccination of children of 15 to 18 years had started from January 3.

Vaccine manufacturer Bharat Biotech asked health workers to be ‘vigilant’ through a tweet. The company tweeted, ‘We had received several reports regarding the second vaccine being given to the 15-18 age group. We request the health workers to be vigilant and ensure that only people in the age group of 15-18 are given Covaccine. He thanked the health workers.

A day earlier, Bharat Biotech had advised not to give painkillers to children after taking a dose of Covaccine. According to the statement issued by the company, ‘We have received feedback that some immunization centers are recommending 3 Paracetamol 500 mg tablets along with Covaccine for children. Paracetamol or painkillers are not recommended after vaccination with Covaccine.

According to the language, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday congratulated the countrymen on crossing the 150 crore dose mark in the vaccination campaign against Kovid-19 and said that due to this many lives were ensured. The Prime Minister tweeted, ‘Today was a remarkable day on the vaccination front. Congratulations to the countrymen on achieving the achievement of 150 crores. Our vaccination campaign has ensured to save many lives. At the same time, we also have to follow all the protocols related to Kovid-19.
