Fresh Paneer – 250 grams
Tomato – 4
Dry coconut grated – 1/2 cup

Ginger – 1 inch piece
Cashew – 1/4 cup
Big cardamom – 1
Green cardamom – 2
Cloves – 4
Black pepper – 8
Cinnamon – 1 inch
Whole red chili – 2
Red chili powder – 1/2 tsp
Turmeric Powder – 1/4 tsp
Coriander Powder – 1 tsp
Green coriander – 2-3 tbsp
Nutmeg Powder – 1/4 tsp
Asafoetida – 1 pinch
Salt – as per taste
Oil

How to make Paneer Kolhapuri
To make Paneer Kolhapuri, first cut the paneer into square equal sized pieces. After this, finely chop the onion and tomato as well. Now put a wok on medium flame and dry roast it by adding cinnamon, nutmeg powder, cardamom, coriander, clove, big cardamom. After this, add sesame seeds and grated coconut and fry till it becomes golden brown. Now take out this whole mixture in a vessel and keep it aside. Now put some oil in the pan and fry it by adding onion and garlic. After this mix green coriander in it and switch off the gas.

Now put the wok on medium flame and heat it again by adding oil. Add tomatoes and fry lightly. After this, add a pinch of asafoetida, red chili powder and turmeric powder and mix it. Now add prepared Kolhapuri masala and water to it and cook for 2 to 3 minutes. Take care that the gravy is not too thin.
