Ingredients for making Masala Potato
Potato – 7-8
Cumin – 1 tsp
Red chili powder – 1 tsp
Coriander Powder – 2 tsp
Amchur – 1 tsp
Turmeric Powder – 3/4 tsp
Green coriander chopped – 1 tbsp
Oil
Salt – as per taste

How to make Masala Potato
To make Masala Aloo, first take the potatoes and wash them thoroughly and take off the peels. After this make a hole around the potato. For this you can take help of spoon fork or toothpick. Now take salt water in a vessel and keep the potatoes immersed in it. Keep the potatoes immersed in water for at least 20 minutes so that the salt gets absorbed well in the potatoes.

Now take a wok and keep it to heat on medium flame. Put some oil in it. When the oil becomes hot, add cumin seeds and let them crackle. As soon as the cumin seeds crackle, add turmeric powder, coriander powder, red chili powder and amchur and mix them all with the help of a ladle. Along with this, add a little water to it as well. Keep stirring the spices with the help of a ladle so that the spices do not burn.

When the spices start leaving the oil, take out the potatoes from the salt water and put them in the spices. Now fry it for at least 5 minutes. Now add water to the vegetable and a little salt as per taste and let it cook. Cook it again for about 5 minutes. Keep in mind that the potatoes have to be cooked till they become soft. After that turn off the flame of the gas. Your delicious masala potato curry is ready. Before serving, garnish with coriander leaves and serve with roti or paratha.
