Eating jaggery also gives relief from cold and flu. Jaggery contains a good amount of elements like iron, magnesium, zinc, selenium and potassium. This increases immunity.

5- Ginger- Ginger should also be consumed in winter. Eating ginger provides relief in cold and cough. Ginger has oxidative and anti-inflammatory properties. Which gives relief in sore throat. The immune system is also boosted by the consumption of ginger. It also removes the problem of cardiovascular diseases like cancer and digestion.
