UPSC: IAS Kavita Ramu is a famous Bharatnatyam dancer, has given more than 600 stage performances

UPSC: When Kavita Ramu was only four years old, her mother took her to Guru Neela Krishnamurthy. Kavita’s father was an IAS officer and hence decided to become an IAS officer.

UPSC: Those who become IAS after passing UPSC exam definitely have some story or the other (IAS Success Story). Many achieve this position while fighting poverty, while some leave the job of lakhs and reach here. Today we are going to talk about IAS Kavitha Ramu (Kavitha Ramu Success Story), who is a brilliant Bharatnatyam dancer besides being an IAS officer by profession.

When Kavita Ramu was only four years old, her mother took her to Guru Neela Krishnamurthy. He learned the basics of Bharatanatyam from Guru Neela and soon dance became his passion. Kavita Ramu has given more than 600 stage performances till now. When Kavita Ramu was eight years old, she got a chance to perform at the fifth World Tamil Conference in 1981. Kavita has been performing on stage for three decades.

Since childhood, Kavita was very much inspired by her father. Kavita’s father was an IAS officer and hence decided to become an IAS officer. You will be surprised to know that Kavita Ramu not only managed to crack UPSC but also made a name for herself in the field of classical dance.

Growing up, Kavita decided to become an IAS officer and chose Economics for graduation. Kavita started preparing for UPSC in post-graduation and was also a college topper in post-graduation. Firstly, Kavita was successful in clearing the public services of Tamil Nadu and in 2022 she cleared UPSC.

During her career as a civil servant, Kavita Ramu was posted as Assistant Commissioner of Civil Supplies and Consumer Protection Department, Chennai, Divisional Officer of Revenue in Vellore and Joint Commissioner for Relief and Rehabilitation in Tamil Nadu Road Sector Project (TNRSP). has been done. He also served as the General Manager of Tamil Nadu State Tourism Development Corporation and Director of Museums. Presently Kavita Ramu is the director of Integrated Child Development Scheme.
