Educational Qualification & Age Limit
For recruitment to the posts of Sub Inspector, it is mandatory for the candidates to have a bachelor’s degree in Arts, Science, Commerce or any other field from a recognized university. The age limit of the candidates applying for this recruitment should be minimum 20 years and maximum 24 years as on 1st January 2021. SC and ST category candidates are given a relaxation of 5 years in the upper age limit. There is a relaxation of 3 years in the upper age limit for the candidates belonging to OBC/MOBC category.
Selection Process and Application Fee
The written test will be conducted by the Assam Police Department for this recruitment. This test will be taken for 100 marks and its time limit will be 3 hours. Candidates who qualify the written test will be called for PMT and PET exam. Candidates applying for this recruitment will not have to pay any application fee.
