JNU Admissions 2022: Lakhs of students dream of studying in Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), but getting admission here is not easy. Candidates have to go through a rigorous examination for admission.
The latest case is that now admission in JNU will be done through CUCET (Common Universities Entrance Test). This process will be applicable from the year 2022-23. According to media reports, the Academic Council of JNU has discussed this test in a meeting held on 12 January 2022.
It is worth noting that earlier Delhi University had also decided that from next year it will take admission through entrance examination.
Let us tell you that JNU is considered one of the best universities in India. JNU was ranked as the best university in India by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NACC) in a survey conducted in July 2012 and rated 3.9 out of 4. This is the highest grade received by any educational institution in the country.
This university was established in the year 1969 and it was named after the first Prime Minister of the country, Jawaharlal Nehru. Professor G. Parthasarathy was the first Vice Chancellor of this university.
