Decision: Counseling of teacher planning from January 17 to 28, 13000 posts will be appointed in 1400 planning units

Bihar Teacher Niyojan Counseling: All the doubts arising in view of the situation of corona infection are over. Matriculation and Inter examinations and the announced programs of teacher planning will be called according to their fixed schedule. On Friday, Education Minister Vijay Kumar Choudhary has directed all the DMs to conduct the planning program in a flawless and transparent manner. Counseling will be held for the selection of elementary teachers under the third cycle from January 17 to 28. For this, a magistrate should be posted at the centers for crowd control. In the centers where there is a possibility of more candidates, DM and DEO can make two counseling centers instead of one. The entire process of planning will be videographed.

The Education Minister held this review meeting through video conferencing in the presence of all the District Magistrates and officials of the Education Department. Addressing the meeting, the Minister said that the remaining planning process of the sixth phase of teacher planning should be completed in a transparent manner and according to the announced program. Planning was to be done in more than 8500 planning units, out of which only about 1200 have survived. The process of planning is to be started again in the remaining units from January 17.

Shri Chowdhary said that this process is pending for more than two years due to various reasons. Most of the time this appointment is stalled due to the intervention of the Hon’ble High Court. Then this process was started with the permission of the court on the special effort of the education department and the government. But due to the approaching of Panchayat elections, this process was interrupted for the last several months. Despite the efforts of the department, progress could not be made due to non-receipt of permission by the State Election Commission. Now the process has to start again. He also said that the government is aware that the eligible candidates from across the state are eagerly waiting for the completion of this process and getting the appointment letters. However, it is clear that there has been no negligence on the part of the department or the government in this.

The suggestions given by the DM will also be included in the guidelines
In this meeting through video conferencing, many district officials also gave important suggestions, which the department accepted and decided to include those facts in the guidelines to be issued by the department. Instructions were also given to strictly follow the guidelines related to Corona at the planning centers. Along with this, for the sake of transparency of the entire process, every activity at the centers was directed to be videographed. Additional Chief Secretary, Education Department, Sanjay Kumar said that completing the process of teacher planning is a priority of the government. In the meeting, Director of Primary Education, Ravi Prakash, Director of Research and Training, Vinodanand Jha and officials of Education Department of various districts spoke.
