The police commissioner said the actor was asked to submit his documents – driving licence, RC, insurance and pollution papers. The actors failed to submit their documents, which landed them in trouble.
Ravindra said, “As of now, we have not received any response from the actor and if there is no response from the actor, charge sheet will be filed.”

The actor was taken to a private hospital and it took him more than a month to recover from the injuries sustained due to the accident.

“However, there has been a reduction in the number of deaths as compared to last year. There were 212 accidents due to drunk driving and Rs 4.5 crore fine was collected during drunk driving inspection,” Stephen said.
“In addition, 9,981 licenses were suspended for driving under the influence of alcohol,” the commissioner said.
