New Delhi. Citroen has increased the price of its best selling premium SUV C5 Aircross in India. The French car maker has increased its price by one lakh rupees in January. Citroen had announced a price hike in December last year.
This is the second time that Citroen has increased the price of a premium SUV in India. In November last year, the carmaker increased the price of the C5 Aircross by up to Rs 1 lakh. Before the price hike, the C5 Aircross SUV was priced starting Rs 31.30 lakh (ex-showroom) for the Feel variant and Rs 32.80 lakh (ex-showroom) for the Shine variant.

What’s the new price?
According to the new price, the price of the SUV has been increased by Rs 98,400 for the top variant. The price of the C5 Aircross SUV now starts at ₹32.24 Lakh (ex-showroom) and goes up to ₹33.78 Lakh (ex-showroom) for the Shine variant.
Citroen C5 Aircross SUV Engine
The Citroen C5 Aircross SUV is powered by a 2.0-litre diesel engine that generates 177bhp power and 400Nm torque. This SUV can be bought with manual and automatic gearboxes. This SUV comes with an 8-speed gearbox.

Features of C5 Aircross SUV
Talking about its other features, it gets a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple Car Play support. It also gets standard features like hands free parking, powered driver seat, dual zone climate control along with safety features like multiple airbags, front and rear car parking sensors, ESP, traction control and hill start assist.
Citroen will launch another car soon
After the C5 Aricross SUV, the French carmaker is gearing up for another launch in India soon. Earlier last year, Citroen unveiled the C3 SUV, which the company has described as ‘Made in India for Indians’.
