The wait is over, Skoda will announce the prices of this powerful SUV tomorrow

New Delhi: Skoda Auto India is going to announce the prices of the new Kodiaq facelift tomorrow i.e. on January 10. Meaning this SUV is going to be launched tomorrow. Although the company is going to launch it officially on January 14. The company is going to start the delivery of the new Kodiaq facelift by the end of January. This powerful SUV is about to make a comeback in India after almost two years as the company had withdrawn from this market when the BS6 rules came into force in April 2020. This car had its global debut in April last year and in India this SUV can be launched in three variants Sportline, Style and Laurin & Clement.

Introduced with many major changes

The company is going to introduce the new Kodiaq facelift with several major changes that are visible from the front to the rear of the car. These include a large grille design and heavy chrome work. Apart from this, the LED headlamps are slim in size and the SUV has been given new dual-tone alloy wheels. The rear comes with updated LED taillamps and a new bumper design. A panoramic sunroof has also been given with the new Kodiaq. Talking about the cabin, there are a lot of hi-tech features which include 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system, 12-speaker sound system, wireless charger and footwell ambient lighting.

Much better in terms of safety

In terms of safety too, the new Skoda Kodiaq is much better and features like EBD electronic stability control, cruise control and tire pressure monitoring system with ABS have been given to the SUV. But what will attract the most attention of the customers here is the new engine of the car. A new 2.0-liter petrol engine has been given with the 2022 Kodiaq, which makes 190 horsepower and 320 Nm of peak torque. Apart from the 7-speed automatic gearbox, this engine usually comes with an all-wheel drive system. After its launch in India, it will compete with cars like Volkswagen Tiguan and Toyota Fortuner.
