Tata Tigor petrol version

Tata Motors first launched the Tigor in the sedan segment in March 2017. It was launched in both petrol and diesel variants, later the diesel variant was discontinued. Currently, the company gives 1.2 liter Revotron engine in its petrol version. It generates max power of 86 hp and peak torque of 113Nm. It has a fuel tank of 35 liters and gives a mileage of 20.3 kmpl. Its ex-showroom price in Delhi starts from 5.67 lakhs.

Electric version of Tata Tigor

It has often been seen that companies bring out petrol and diesel versions of a car. Sometimes its CNG model is also in the market. But the Tata Tigor is probably the first vehicle in the country whose petrol version as well as the electric version has been launched by the company.

The Tata Tigor EV not only got a 4-star rating from GNCAP in terms of safety. Rather, it gets charged from 0 to 80 percent in just 65 minutes. Its starting price is Rs 11.99 lakh and it can cover a distance of up to 306 km in a single charge.

Upcoming Tigor CNG

Tata Motors is also going to launch a CNG model of its sedan next month. The Tigor CNG is also likely to be powered by the 1.2-litre Revotron petrol engine. However, due to CNG, there may be a slight decrease in its power output and torque generation.

Hence, this sedan from Tata will be one of its kind to come with 3 different fuel options.
