The Czech Republic’s automobile company Skoda Auto will launch the Skoda Kodiaq facelift in India on Monday, January 10. In this way, the company will start the new year with a bang in India. This luxury SUV will be launched in India after a long wait. The company has decided to launch the Skoda Kodiaq facelift before its premium sedan, the Slavia.
The company has launched Skoda Kodiaq in the global markets only last year but due to the implementation of BS-6 rules, its launch in India was delayed. However, the Skoda Kodiaq facelift launching on Monday will come with several new updates. According to the information revealed so far, it will be different in exterior design and interior design from the model launched last year.

According to various media reports, the new Skoda Kodiaq facelift will come with a new styling grille, LED Daytime Running Lamp and new bumpers. Slight changes have also been made in the rear lamb and bumper. However, the profile of this SUV is more or less similar to the previous generation SUV. The new dashboard will feature an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system. Along with this, this SUV will come with inbuilt navigation and wireless connectivity.
If we talk about safety, then this SUV will come with 9 airbags, ABS, ESC, adaptive front light, 360 degree camera, multi-collision brake and hill assist control. According to the reports, this SUV will come with three variants – Style, Sportline and Laurin & Klement.
It will be launched with a petrol engine and will get a fully automatic gearbox. This SUV will enter the Indian markets with a 2.0 liter turbo petrol engine. This SUV can generate a maximum output of 190 hp and peak torque of 320 Nm.
According to the information revealed so far, the ex-showroom price of this SUV can be Rs 35 lakh. After launch, the Skoda Kodiaq facelift will take on the Volkswagen Tiguan and Hyundai Tucson.
