Ready for performance teaser of this sturdy motorcycle released, will be launched soon in sporty style

New Delhi: TVS Motor Company has released the teaser of its upcoming Apache 165 RP in India ahead of the launch. Here RP stands for Race Performance and the company is going to use this tag in many upcoming models. TVS Apache RTR 165 RP will be based on the company’s RTR 160 4V and will be launched in India very soon. TVS may possibly introduce the Apache RTR 165 RP with a few styling changes which will be a sportier model of the regular RTR 160 4V. It is also estimated that the company should make its engine more powerful to improve the performance of the sporty model.

Strong in both looks and performance

TVS can offer this new motorcycle with a 159.7 cc single-cylinder, oil-cooled engine that is being offered in the current Apache RTR 160 4V. On the lines of Apache 310, customers can also get the option to tune the engine of the bike according to their own. The engine in the current bike makes 17.63 Bhp power and 14.73 Nm peak torque, which is the highest in this segment. The company has equipped this engine with a 5-speed transmission as before. This TVS bike is strong in terms of both looks and performance and will emerge as a great alternative to sporty looking motorcycle for the customers.

Dual-channel ABS as usual

The ergonomics of the bike will be better than before and its riding position has been designed according to the sports model. Telescopic forks at the front and monoshock suspension borrowed from Showa can be found at the rear. It can also get disc brakes on both the wheels and dual-channel ABS in general. The new motorcycle is expected to come with features such as a fully digital instrument console, LED DRLs, glide through traffic technology, one-touch start and wave bite ignition key. Apart from all this, TVS may also offer the brand’s collection technology called SmartConnect with this new motorcycle.
