New Delhi. This is good news for the customers who buy Ola scooter. The company’s CEO Bhavish Aggarwal said that the company will upgrade all the S1 scooters of its customers to S1 Pro. Buyers of Ola S1 will get the same hardware as Ola S1 Pro at the same price and apart from that they will not need to pay any extra amount.
Bhavish Aggarwal tweeted, “We are upgrading all our S1 customers to S1 Pro hardware. You will get all the S1 features and you can unlock Pro Range, Hyper Mode, other features with the upgrade.” Thanking his customers, he said that these scooters will be made available in January and February.

Full payment window will open on January 21
Last week, the company had said that for customers who have already booked the scooter, the last payment window will open on the Ola app from 6 pm on January 21. Ola Electric launched its S1 and S1 Pro electric scooters last year, but despite the scheduled schedule, the deliveries of the scooters got delayed. The company finally started shipping scooters in December with the delivery of the first 100 scooters to customers in Chennai and Bengaluru.

Questions were raised on the range of scooters
Ola Electric launched its S1 and S1 Pro electric scooters last year, which have been designed in line with the Etergo AppScooter. Ola electric scooters have already started shipping to the consumers and have received mixed response from them. While the features and design of the Ola scooters have received positive response from the consumers, the actual range of the scooters is claimed to be much lower than the EV range announced by the company.
