Royal Enfield announced on Tuesday that it has successfully completed its 90° South mission. The expedition to the South Pole has been completed on the company’s popular adventure motorcycle, the Himalayan ADV. The company’s riders Santosh Vijay Kumar and Dean Coxson reached the South Pole on 16 December 2021 on a 15-day journey.

The Royal Enfield team started its journey from Cape Town to Novo in Antarctica. Towards the Ross Ice Shelf, it covered 3200 km of land in 9 days, with temperatures ranging from -30 to -25 degrees and wind speeds below 60 kmph. The company said the designated starting point ‘Ross Ice Shelf’ had to be changed due to unforeseen circumstances.
